Experience working with patient aggregation platforms like HIE.
Experience managing and tuning EMPIs.
Experience using Source Control and management tools such as Azure DevOps and Gitlab/GitHub.
Experience transforming requirements into Design Concepts and ERDs using Visio and similar tools.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Install and configure interface engines like Corepoint or NextGen.
- Maintain process design artifacts like data flow diagrams, end-user process maps, and technical design documents.
- Develop, test, and deploy interoperability and integration solutions based on business requirements using common and accepted industry applications and tools.
- Analyze, assess, build, and maintain interfaces for all data exchange methodologies including HL7, X12, FHIR, SQL, REST API, and more.
- Design and develop various data integration solutions to and from external EMR systems.
- Lead the development and enhancement of CMS Interoperability Rules implementation including Patient Access, Provider Access, and Payer-to-Payer.
- Evaluate existing application integration solutions and recommend improvements for performance efficiency.
- Elicit and help configure integration tools or platforms necessary to achieve interoperability.
- Participate in integration testing of internal and external applications.
- Orchestrate and maintain data pipelines that meet security standards and ensure the integrity and quality of data.
- Conduct code reviews.
- Direct and mentor level I and II engineers.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in interoperability-related projects.
- Stay up to date on interoperability concepts and standards.
- Provide on-call support for production performance/availability or other critical issues outside of normal business hours.
